TESTIMONY WITH A DIFFERENCE: BEING A GUBERNATORIAL BIOGRAPHER AND PROPHET TO NATIONS.

THE proverbially biblical question of :" Who made you a judge over us ?"would have been the first poser to answer, but having already gone down memory lane on my consecration from the womb and how I have through the Grace of God been anointing leaders, ( Presidents and Governors 1979-2022) the next question remaining for me to address here is this :

How did I go about the divine assignment ( motive behind it ; my collective experience; value attached to it as well as the gains and lessons there-from)?

Some critics of my first gubernatorial biography:" Lam , The incorruptible Democrat "2000 ,most of whom did not even read the biography was of the opinion that it celebrated the governor too early.

Since they took much for granted, they forgot that the biography was a document that covered his childhood  through his adulthood and most significantly his journey to the governorship( not governance) and not beyond 1999.

Many of them also glossed over the fact that  the book was an agenda setter , with the proceeds from its launching being activated to give lasting solution to crises ( now full-blown into terrorism) through value-reorientation targeted at the media among others while the last chapter of the book ( Remember the son of whom you are ) was as highly prophetic as the reason for the biography itself.

"Man of the Masses", being the biography of Governor Kolapo Ishola is a lesson in the responsibility of Trance in leadership; the essence of trance ;how not to abuse trance and holding leaders to accountability.

Here,  I make bold to say that comparatively, the uniqueness in Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola's biography of my authorship lies in the fact that , for me ,it is one PARADISE REGAINED in 2017/2022  of  one PARADISE LOST  gubernatorial assignment of (2000 )

Biblically  speaking, should this not be marvellous in my eyes ? Why won't I go fanatical about it?

Why shouldn't I go fanatical for Rauf ?

"If the truth must be told , there is no doubt that the mighty hands of governments frustrated the vision behind the creation by me , a Movement of Non violence in Africa MENVIA and stopped it from full operation , the role which my usual affliction( sexual immorality from my youth up) played, is never excusable .

The Bible says:" If a man's way is pleasant before the Lord , He would make his enemies to live with him in peace .

And if God indeed be for us, who is the man who would fight us and would not face the music ?

" ...I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus , my Lord , for whose sake I have lost all things .

I consider them garbage that I may gain Christ  and be found in him , not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ- the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith."

In my divine connection with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as ordained to happen by God, my weakness was turned into strength, breeding eternal joy which I shall carry to my grave.

I am humbled with the rich lessons on how not to judge by people's opinions and standards, especially as prophets who are supposed to be at peace with all .

It further opens me up to enhancing my mission to witness to nations .

My only and constant prayer for Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is that having been used as a source of blessing to me ( and to others ) may he continue to grow in God's wisdom and not end up as the proverbial tout who gets passengers ready on the ark of salvation, but himself refuses to go with them.

It is not unexpected that some may see my Testimony as self-serving  or needlessly promoting Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

It would not be the first time people would lay such accusation as Jesus Christ Himself was wrongly accused of entertaining the woman who poured very precious ointment, Alabaster on Christ , with the direct onslaught coming from Judas Iscariot who charged the woman with lavishing on Jesus , ointment which ordinarily could have been donated to the poor .

But Jesus Christ, knowing their dog-in-the- manger posture ,replied His accusers that every where the gospel is being preached, the divine act by the woman shall never go unmentioned.

The Yoruba proverb often says that if the aroma which a delicious dog pepper soup provides is mouthwatering enough to attract our commendation, it is only natural and fair to pay obeisance to the cooking pot in which the dog was prepared.

Conversely, would it be right to write my Testimony without discussing the God- inspired vessel ( Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola)on which fulcrum He chooses to bring it about?
